I think the biggest misconception about K-pop is the fact that a large chunk of every artist's fanbase doesn't even know what they are saying half the time. Like myself, many fans don't speak or understand Korean. Yet why are we fans of K-pop? putting aside the obvious six-pacs, eyeliner, and looks, K-pop is music just in another language. Sure my brain may not know what they are saying, but my heart knows every word. That's the most important thing.
Don't let anyone make fun of you if you like K-pop, I mean they probably listen to Niki Minaj which is like soft porn. Seriously you call that music? Yet you can't appreciate a good K.Will ballad. I don't think so brah.
K-pop is music too whether you like it or not. You don't need to know what the lyrics mean, as long as the music speaks to your soul, you know that feeling.
